Snapped a lot of photos while we were camping in Deception Pass (In Washington State, USA), beautiful campground, beautiful area. Many of these shots are almost straight out of the camera, some have been tweaked, and a few others (which should be obvious), have been manipulated a bit. Let me know what you think, which are your favourites, or if you like any of them at all!
OK, Not exactly Oil Painting…but it is an Oil Paint filter in CS6…Trying out the 30 day trial of PhotoShop CS6…I really like this Oil Paint filter. It adds a real dream like effect to the images. What do you think?
A couple of my prints have been used to wrap the Utility Boxes around Port Coquitlam. Can you find them??
Here is the first one:
And here is a link to the original image that was used…taken on the Capilano River in North Vancouver. http://www.stevesplace.ca/PhotoBlog/?p=1008
I have put some of my images in another online store…Here you can get prints on Canvas, for that more classy look.
Snapped a picture of this boat, as it was just sitting in the field beside the road. I have done some digital enhancements to bring out the details in the cracks/scratches etc.
Found this guy living underneath my deck…taken at night, with workmate light, and a bit of on camera flash…good model, he/she stayed still the whole time.
Took this shot a long time ago…and while I always liked the tight crop, I wasn’t happy with the colours/exposure…Now I am better at the PS thing, and I was able to tweak…de-saturate and darken the clothes and background, and allow the instruments and hands to pop.
Nice short hike through Elison Provincial Park…Beautiful park, beautiful day…it was hard to take a bad picture!! So much colour, and interesting textures all around me…
Visiting my brother in the city of Vernon, in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Fabulous couple of days, the weather was perfect…sunshine, but not blistering hot. Caught these few shots just as we hung out…beautiful country! Sunflowers, Pumpkins, Blueberries, and cows, oh my!
Wonderful hike with the family at Belcarra park, in Beautiful British Columbia….These shots show some of the things my “EYE” saw on the way…snapped a few shots, and then ran ahead to catch up with the rest of the family!
Just a stump…at a campground we were camping at (Rolley Lake, in Beautiful British Columbia). Used three images, and HDR process to combine the images into this result…lots of detail in this one.
