This bridge is not as old as this picture makes it look…I used a “histogram equalize” and sepia toning to give it that old photo look.
A little busy…but this burnt/broken/weathered tree was still striving…despite this large scar on its side.
One of my favourite shots from my walk in North Van…nothing like Water/Rocks/Wood to make a good picture!
Never know what you are going to find hanging in a tree!
When taking pictures…look in ALL directions!
Cold day…crouched down into a ditch…Macro settings…obviously some contrast/local hue mapping, boosting of saturation to get the sharp style…whaddya think?
North Vancouver…gone for a walk with the dog…amazing sights can be seen all around you in this province!
Amazing to see so many textures/colours on a wall…all in the same place! This is basically as taken…added a frame, and boosted the contrast a bit…oh yeah, I did also correct the perspective distortion a bit, as I took the image at an angle. Would you like this “Wall” on your wall??
Once again…long exposure, but my foot was only there for about 5 seconds of the 15 second exposure…just for “kicks”
Again playing with long exposures on a dark night…this was 15 seconds long…and then I cranked up the contrast/brightness to get this style.
In North Van…(Near Capilano Suspension Bridge)…just messing around with long exposure and such. Not a fantastic image, but you gotta try these things every now and then to try and learn something. Did I learn something? Yup…Fingers get cold taking pictures at night!
At a concert in Grandville Island during the last day of the Olympics…At a moment when the lights got my attention more than the concert itself did!
